Recommendations
Recommendations is a short checklist nsin builds for each domain from your real traffic and settings. Green ticks are things already right; warnings are worth fixing, each with a button straight to the setting.
Nothing here probes your website — every check comes from data nsin already has: your visitors’ request logs, plus your domain configuration.
What gets checked

Reading a recommendation
Section titled “Reading a recommendation”Each item shows a severity, a plain-language explanation, and the numbers behind it (hit rate, response time, error percentage) so you can judge it yourself.
Items are grouped by what they affect — security, reachability, plan, speed, SEO — most severe first in each group. Plan covers your subscription’s allowances: gateway quota and included traffic.
Severity is one of three, shown as a badge:

Why some checks don’t appear
Section titled “Why some checks don’t appear”Rate-based checks need enough traffic to be meaningful — a handful of requests can’t tell you whether 2% failing is a problem. Without enough traffic, the check is left out rather than guessing.
Results recompute every couple of minutes, so a fix shows up shortly after — not instantly.
Dismissing
Section titled “Dismissing”If a recommendation doesn’t apply to you, dismiss it. How long it stays away depends on severity:
- Suggestion — hidden for good.
- Needs attention — hidden for 7 days. If the problem is still there a week later, it comes back, so nothing quietly rots behind a dismissal. The card says when it returns; dismissing again buys another 7 days.
- Critical — can’t be dismissed. It means the site is down, unreachable or insecure, and hiding it would hide an outage. Fix it and it clears itself.
Dismissals are per person — dismissing an item doesn’t hide it from other members. Restore a dismissed item any time.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”I fixed it but it still shows a warning. Give it a few minutes — the checklist recomputes on a short cycle. Traffic-based checks use a rolling window, so a metric takes a while to move.
The image check flags images I can’t change. Dismiss it. It’s a suggestion, so it won’t come back.
A dismissed item came back. It was a “needs attention” one, and 7 days passed with the problem still there. Fix it, or dismiss it again.
Nothing is listed at all. Either the domain hasn’t received enough traffic yet, or its plan doesn’t include monitoring. See Plans.
